Demontica Chapman is more than just a participant at Roll Over MS; she is an incredible advocate, mother, person living with , and support group leader for the MS Focus Independent support group, MS Can Kick Rocks, in Lakeland, FL.

She says, "I roll because I want others to know they are not alone in this fight."

Her opening speech at our first annual Central Florida Roll Over MS left our crowd in awe of her courage and inspired everyone to roll as they choose.

Having MS sucks…bad!

The unpredictable days and nights. The fear of progression on your next MRI. Thoughts of losing your mobility for months at a time, losing your vision, fear of having to live alone, if friends will leave you, or wondering if the medications will keep working to slow the disease down. It’s a never-ending journey filled with questions that don’t always have answers.

But this support group continues to remind me of my why. 🧡

Why I started my non profit, Multiple Sclerosis Can Kick Rocks. Why I started a support group. Why I answer the phone when an unknown number calls and it’s a woman on the other end saying, “I was just diagnosed, and I don’t know what to do.” 🥺

This is why.

And through it all, God has continued to keep me.

So today, I’m just grateful. Grateful for His strength when mine runs low. Grateful for His peace when fear tries to take over. Grateful that no matter what this journey looks like, I don’t have to walk it alone & neither do you.
