Who says the fun ends after the final run? 🏁

The SCCA Central Florida Region Women On Track program is hosting post-event socials after our next two autocross weekends — and everyone is invited!

Whether you drive, ride along, work course, spectate, or just want to learn more about autocross, come hang out with the local motorsports community in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Great food, car talk, stories from the day, and plenty of bench racing included. 🚗✨

🏁 CFR Women on Track is turning up the competition! 🏁

This season, Central Florida Region Women on Track (CFR-WOT), is proud to award a gift card to the fastest novice woman at each CFR autocross event! 🏁
Our first two winners are:
• Sarah Bernal (Honda Civic) – St. Lucie
• Makaylee Orend (Mazda Miata) – Cocoa

We’re excited to continue supporting and celebrating women in motorsports. Whether you’re a seasoned driver or brand new to autocross, we’d love to see you at our upcoming events!

Come drive, learn, and have fun with us!

Are you a licensed SSS? If yes, we need you this weekend at our St. Lucie autocross!

We are at risk of cancelling the event if we cannot find at least one more SSS.

Please email Nick at [email protected] if you can help us out!

A few highlights from 1976:

• James Hunt edges Niki Lauda by a single point to claim the Formula One World Championship.
• Johnny Rutherford takes his first Indianapolis 500 win with McLaren.
• And in Florida… a five-year-old named David Welsh joins the Sports Car Club of America.

Congrats Dave!
