A big part of Lowe syndrome comes with medical complications. Oliver just had his 8th surgery, where doctors patched the the hole in his ear drum and took his tonsils out. While some procedures are routine, anytime a child is under anesthesia there is a risk. These things are hard for all parents, unfortunately it becomes routine in Rare Disease families. This is why all efforts to fundraise for research into cure and care options is important. So that maybe one day other families won't have these experiences.

While we're bummed that our own baseball season is coming to an end, it's definitely freeing up some time to go see the pros play ball under the big lights (or the boiling Florida sun)!

So we'll take this chance to let everybody know that the Clearwater Threshers Baseball organization has agreed to sponsor our tournament, contributing 4 tickets to any regular season game for our raffle! For our local folks, that's a great chance to take a day trip, enjoy a game, and cool off at the beach with the family. 💙
