Empty Bowls is a new fundraiser that will be held Feb. 1, 2012, for Agape Food Bank. It features an auction of uniquel bowls painted and signed by celebrities, including Paula Deen, Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman, Wynton Marsalis and others.

Most kids used their thumbs or fingers. But this little guy went a different way, to help decorate a special bowl for Agape Food Bank's "Empty Bowls" fundraiser, coming up Feb. 1, 2013. Youngsters painted the bowls during the annual Mayfaire arts festival May 12 at Lake Morton in Lakeland.

Not too late to do something simple to help end hunger here. It's Letter Carrier Food Drive day so take those non-perish...
