It's Georgia Pre-K Week! This week we're celebrating the teachers, helpers, and families who give our four year olds a strong start.
Georgia's Pre-K is free, voluntary, and funded by the Georgia Lottery. More than 71,000 four year olds across the state are in a Pre-K classroom this school year. Since it started, the program has helped prepare over 2 million Georgia kids for kindergarten. It's also one of the few programs in the country that meets all 10 national quality benchmarks.
