Tennis for Tumors Tennis For Tumors was founded in 2006 by Brittany Truitt. We have raised over $220,000 over the past six years!

The goal of the tournament is to raise awareness of childhood brain tumors and to raise money for research for brain tumors. Tennis for Tumors was founded in 2006 by Brittany Truitt, who was a high school student when diagnosed with a low grade glioma, specifically juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma. Brittany is the Founder of Tennis for Tumors and is a community representative for the Childhood Brain

Tumor Foundation. Brittany rallied together family and friends to organize a tennis tournament after her personal experience and having met other children with more serious conditions. Only six months post surgery, Brittany started creating awareness. I have been so blessed by the Lord and he has laid it on my heart to fight again brain tumors.

Tennis For Tumors is proud to announce Taylor Oliver as the recipient of the 2015 Adam Morrison Scholarship. Taylor played on the varsity tennis team at All Saints' Academy and George Jenkins. She has been involved with the Tennis For Tumors event for 8 years, first as a player and then as a board member. T4T thanks her for her service to the fundraiser. The winners of this year's Adam Morrison Scholarship are Shannon Griffin of Chain of Lakes Collegiate and Youlei Li of IB at Bartow High School. The recipients were selected based on a 500 word essay. Using a personal experience, Shannon and Youlei wrote about how cancer has influenced them. Each of the recipients will receive a $500.00 scholarship. Congratulations!!!
