Falcon Youth Rugby Club is a 501c3 Non-profit, providing tag and tackle coed youth Rugby for K – 12 Head Coach Bryan’s Rugby Bio

Since starting his rugby career in 1985, Bryan has played, coached, and led clubs nationally and internationally on several Military and Civilian teams (Gulfport Land Sharks, Scott Rowdies, Moosemen, Tempe Old Devils, Western Suburbs, WSRFC Old Boys, Woodlands, and Falc

on’s Youth RFC). Lifetime rugby achievements include Military Nationals, Air Force Select side, Southern Conference Selects, Hawaii International Rugby Tournament, Arizona State Championships, West Coast Division One Regionals, PRU Division II Championships, PRU Division III Championships, and Texas State Youth Championships. He has supported the Savannah Annual International St Patrick’s Rugby Tournament since '00. Coach Bryan, a retired USAF officer, and veteran plans to play rugby until he is 65 or runs out of Guinness. He is the father of twelve in his spare time, with the youngest being twins. He has completed his USA Rugby L2 Coaching and L1 Referee certifications. Bryan has served as President, VP, Team Captain, Coach, Asst. He is employed at DoD Platform One as an IT Infrastructure Program Manager in Spring, TX.

🏉 2025 Texas Bloodfest Sevens Tournament – Round Rock, Texas 🏉

What great memories!!

Spent the weekend at the 2025 Bloodfest Sevens Tournament in Round Rock, Texas, surrounded by great rugby, great people, and plenty of competition. Bloodfest has been one of the premier summer rugby tournaments in the country for decades, bringing together teams from across the United States for an incredible weekend of rugby.

From the first kickoff to the final whistle, it was awesome catching up with old friends, making new ones, and celebrating the sport we all love. Rugby has a unique way of bringing people together, and Bloodfest once again delivered an unforgettable experience.

Thank you to the players, coaches, referees, volunteers, and fans who made the tournament such a success. Already looking forward to the next one!

Team registration is now open for our 10-year anniversary event — and 2027 will feature 20 different divisions across Boys, Girls and Coed competitions.

From U12 through to Adult, Elite and Open at many age grades , Tropical 7s 2027 is creating more opportunities than ever for teams to compete at North America’s #1 rugby festival.

📅 March 25–28, 2027 📍 Tampa Sportsplex, Florida 🏉 20 divisions. New 4-day format. One unforgettable rugby experience.

Competitions will be running as follows:

* U12, U14 and U16 divisions: Thursday & Friday (25-26 March 2027)
* U18 divisions: Friday & Saturday (26-27 March 2027)
* U23 and Senior divisions: Saturday & Sunday (27-28 March 2027)
* Training sessions: Wednesday 24 March to Friday 26 March 2027

🇺🇸🏉 Falcon Youth Rugby Club – Memorial Day Reflection 🏉🇺🇸

As we look forward to the Memorial Day holiday, the Lakeland Falcon Youth Rugby Club would like to take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.

While enjoying time with family and friends this weekend, we encourage everyone to pause and reflect on those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their memory in their hearts.

May is also Military Appreciation Month, recognizing the sacrifices and contributions of our service members, veterans, and military families. As a retired USAF veteran, this message is especially meaningful to me, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who have served our Nation.

🏉🔥 Falcon Youth Rugby is locked in and ready for the Siesta Sevens Beach Rugby 7s Tournament tomorrow in Sarasota, FL! The bags are packed, the boots are laced, and the players are fired up for an awesome day of rugby.

Proud of how far this team has come in our very first season — hard work, teamwork, and Falcon pride every step of the way. Looking forward to great competition, making new friends across Florida, and representing Lakeland with heart and hustle.
