🇺🇸🏉 Falcon Youth Rugby Club – Memorial Day Reflection 🏉🇺🇸

As we look forward to the Memorial Day holiday, the Lakeland Falcon Youth Rugby Club would like to take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms deserve our deepest respect and gratitude.

While enjoying time with family and friends this weekend, we encourage everyone to pause and reflect on those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their memory in their hearts.

May is also Military Appreciation Month, recognizing the sacrifices and contributions of our service members, veterans, and military families. As a retired USAF veteran, this message is especially meaningful to me, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to all who have served our Nation.

🏉🔥 Falcon Youth Rugby is locked in and ready for the Siesta Sevens Beach Rugby 7s Tournament tomorrow in Sarasota, FL! The bags are packed, the boots are laced, and the players are fired up for an awesome day of rugby.

Proud of how far this team has come in our very first season — hard work, teamwork, and Falcon pride every step of the way. Looking forward to great competition, making new friends across Florida, and representing Lakeland with heart and hustle.

What an incredible first season for the Falcon Youth Rugby! 🏉💙

Kris and I are proud to share a few end-of-year memories from a season we’ll never forget. What started as a new youth rugby club in Lakeland, FL, quickly became something much bigger — a rugby family spread across the entire state of Florida.

We made lifelong friends, learned so much, traveled across the state, and watched our players grow both on and off the pitch. From festivals and tournaments to practices and socials, this year was filled with hard work, laughter, sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments.

A huge THANK YOU to the Florida Youth Rugby Union, Lakeland Lancers Rugby, every club, coach, referee, parent, and player who welcomed Falcon Youth Rugby into the Florida rugby community with open arms. Your support, encouragement, and friendship meant the world to us.

This is only the beginning.

🏉🌴 What an AWESOME day at the 3rd Annual Coconut Cup Rugby Invitational! 🌴🏉

Our Jaguar-Florida-Falcon Youth Rugby middle and high school girls had an incredible experience competing against the Cayman Islands girls. Great rugby, amazing competition, and even better friendships made throughout the weekend. 💙💪

The social afterward was absolutely fantastic — lots of laughs, memories, and new friends from across the water. Rugby truly is one big family.

We can’t wait to see and play with the Cayman girls again in the future! Safe travels and thank you for an unforgettable experience. 🏉🇰🇾🇺🇸
