Donate @ givecf.org/donate & Select Timothy B. Urban Meyer once said “Think of your organization as a big circle. At the very center of it, the nucleus, are the top 10 percenters, people who give all they’ve got all the time, who are the essence of self-discipline, self-respect, and the relentless pursuit of improvement. They are the elite- the most powerful component of any organization.”
In eve
ry aspect of his life, Tim was part of the “top 10 percenters.”
He was a devoted husband and father that poured his heart and passion into his family—especially his two children Jason and Lauren. He took every opportunity to support them and to encourage all of their interests and activities. He was a leader in business. His twenty-five-year career included Bay Data Consultants, Vertical IT Solutions, and All Covered, where he was National Manager of Security Services. Tim had extensive certifications and was valued by his clients and colleagues for his expertise in network and systems administration, cyber security, and digital forensics. He loved and excelled in serving his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard. During his 5 years of service, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, and other commendations. Even in his hobbies, Tim excelled. While Tim had many hobbies, he was especially passionate about building and flying remote-controlled model airplanes. He even set the Guinness Book of World Records for the most remote-controlled aircraft in the air at one time. Bottom line, Tim led a life worth remembering. All those who had the pleasure of knowing Tim, whether professionally or personally, were better off for it. The world needs more people like Tim. That is why his family and friends want to create a foundation in his honor. We want to ensure that all future generations of the Coker Family will learn about the story of Tim’s life, and be positively impacted by not only his legacy but also by the responsibility and opportunity to continuously give back to their communities. Our goal is to have his Foundation funded by January 27, 2022 - the first anniversary of Tim’s death. The Foundation will be run by his family and will last into perpetuity so that all future generations may know and be enriched by the legacy of Timothy B. As Tim supported many charities that assisted his community, especially fellow veterans, the elderly, and the disabled during his lifetime.
