So proud of our alumni Flamingo Kenny GAUDET and his USA Artistic Swimming National Team Mixed Technical Duet partner Claudia Coletti who placed 5th today in their event at the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary! FINA Budapest 2022
Since January, Kenny has successfully competed in Chili, Paris, Athens and now Budapest!
His dreams began at a very young age as part of our grassroots program. His idol has been the world-renowned Bill May Synchronized Swimmer — who, ironically, is the announcer for this world championships — having won the first-ever gold medal in Mixed Duet at the World Championships.
Congratulations too to the incredible USA coaching staff Andrea Fuentes -Oficial- Voloshyna and team manager .

Join us for the 38th Annual “LET’S TRY SYNCHRO” Clinic next Saturday, August 22 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at the Lakeland Family YMCA (3620 Cleveland Heights Blvd., South Lakeland).
Learn basic synchronized swimming (also called artistic swimming) skills and be a part of the beautiful Olympic sport that is Artistic Swimming!
Mermaids and Mermen welcome! Ages: 7-14 / Cost $10. Wear a swim suit, bring goggles and a towel. Must be comfortable swimming in deep water.

We are so excited able to compete this season! We are finishing up with our practices leading to the 2021 USA Artistic Swimming Junior Olympic nationals at the US Air Force Academy campus.
