Let’s show any support we can to this family. 6th Annual Nationwide Rally & Ride Out of the Darkness®

In Loving Memory of Johnathan "John" Robin-Thomas Clemann 💙🇺🇸

So many of you have been following along and asking for updates on the young Marine from Plant City, FL we were working to bring home from NC. Thank you for every share, comment, call, and resource you sent our way. Your response showed us exactly what this community is made of and we were able to add many other resources to our network to help families in the future.

John was 22 years old. He grew up in Plant City, played football for the Plant City Dolphins and Strawberry Crest High School, and answered the call to serve as a United States Marine. He was honorably discharged this past May. He loved gaming, bodybuilding, and fitness, but above all, he loved his family.

Here is where things stand. Over two days, our team and partners, including US Veterans Corps in North Carolina, lined up a way to bring John home at no cost to the family. In the middle of unimaginable grief and exhaustion, the family moved forward with arrangements through the funeral home and has already paid thousands out of pocket.

Families who lose someone this way are asked to make enormous decisions in the hardest hours of their lives. Many of us have been there ourselves. The cost and chaos of getting my sister home from Miami to Lakeland was expensive and a challenge. Our job is to stand beside this family and our military families. John’s father is a veteran Marine and his two brothers are active in the marines and army. We always say that the pain they left behind only transfers to everyone who loved them. This is our time to wrap this family up and show them all the love and support we can.

So our goal has changed. The VA may help with around $1,000, and Once a Soldier is offering $300 to $500. Amanda and Kelly Terwilliger are now helping the remaining $10,000 to help the Clemann family recover what they have paid, so they can grieve without carrying this debt.

Please give what you can and share 👇

To US Veterans Corps: thank you for your hearts, your time, and the donated transfer case and American flag, which will now be held for the next family who needs them.

We invite everyone to stand with John's loved ones on October 3rd at the 6th Annual Nationwide Rally & Ride Out of the Darkness® to honor his life and memory. The Clemann family will always have a place with us.

Love Surrounds You®, always.

Startle Response

Fear says, "I'm never truly safe."

Love says, "My body is trying to protect me, and I can help it feel safe again."

A strong startle response can happen after difficult experiences. Your nervous system isn't trying to hurt you—it's trying to protect you. Healing comes when we teach our minds and bodies that the danger has passed. With time, patience, and support, peace becomes possible again.
