Lakeland Firefighters Benevolent Association Lakeland Firefighters Benevolent Association was founded by Lakeland Firefighters to help promote health, education and assists to fellow firefighters.

The Lakeland Firefighters Benevolent Association is a Nonprofit Organization, formed by Lakeland Firefighters to promote programs for health, welfare, safety and education of firefighters and the greater community in which they serve. LFBA also would like to help give back to the great community of Lakeland. LFBA will be planning fundraising event throughout the year to help with community projec

ts and firefighter education and assistants programs. LFBA will also like to set up community events around Lakeland, where community members will be able to laugh and have fun getting to know their local firefighters.

The LFBA with help from Santa, Mrs. Claus and their happy elf stop by Lakeland Regional Hospital’s  pediatric yesterday, to bring a little Holiday Cheer!!! They were able to give a gift to all the little ones on the pediatric floor and pediatric ER. It was such a joyful experience seeing all the kid’s faces light up when they saw Santa and all his helper stop by their rooms to wish them a Merry Christmas!!!!

LFBA 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament this past Saturday at Lake Parker Parks in Lakeland. There were 11 First Responders teams from all over Polk county. PCRF took first place, Lakeland Fire took second place and Auburndale Fire took third place. We want to thank all of the First Responders that came out and played. Can’t wait for next tournament to see some more great pickleball.

We will never forget, remembering all those First Responders that run towards danger to help save lives.
