Update from Sandy Cheatwood - - Missionary to Romania:
Greetings from Casa Julia!
Here it is already into August!! The summer is almost gone!! I hear in America the kids are already starting school!! Romanian school begins the middle of September, course, it doesn't end until well into June. Any way we look at it, summer fun is almost over!!
Because we live about 10 minutes by car from the Black Sea, we take the kids to the beach often. It's free and they love it!! They are all brown as 'berries'!!! It is too hot for me!! When they were little, I had to go to help keep watch over them, but they can all swim now and can look after each other.
Lots to do during the summer:.We have done a little 'homework' to keep up some of their lessons..Some of the kids go to the Turkish or Romanian meetings with Daddy..The yards have to be mowed and tended..Granddad and Noah Cross' graves have to be tended. Johnny and Creed water the grass on them every evening..Special 'party' days. August is our BIG birthday month--7 birthdays!.other jobs Daddy and Mommy come up with..Beach time!
So, it is a busy summer.
Daddy has 5 weekly church meetings, plus being "Daddy". The meetings are going well. We are so happy to finally have complete freedom from Covid restrictions!!
We want to thank each of you who prays for us and who gives to the Home. The prayers bring in the funds we need to keep up with the rapidly increasing prices. Thank you for listening to the Lord's urging you to support the Home. God knows our needs and will 'tell' you about them.
