Lakehurst Youth & Recreation is proud to host its 1st Annual Fishing Derby in honor of longtime resident Sid Hooper.

Sid organized fishing derbies for many years, bringing families and neighbors together. We are honored to continue that tradition and celebrate his lasting impact on our community.

Get ready for Lakehurst’s 2026 Annual Bicycle Rodeo ‼️

Hosted by your very own Lakehurst Borough Police Department & the assistance of the Lakehurst Youth and Recreation!

The rodeo is open to all Lakehurst Elementary students grades Pre-K through 8th grade. This year’s event will be full of new adventures as we have decided to change up the agility course! But wait there’s more.. after registration, a warm up lap around the lake with Lakehurst Officers will be added to kick off the event 🚴‍♂️

As always, a bicycle safety check will be conducted during registration so make sure to bring your helmets and a bicycle with properly working brakes before attending.

Free food, snacks and drinks will be provided.

It’s almost yard sale season! What a great way to purge your unused items and make some money. For only $5 you can register your home to be on a map. The map will be distributed to many local businesses so potential customers can locate your treasures.

The weather is not giving us Spring like vibes, but our Spring activity is today. Come join us at 11 am for our annual Easter Egg hunt. Ages 7 and under and you must bring your own basket to collect eggs in. Bundle up and we will see you there.
