Medina Lake Cajun Festival This fundraiser supports the wonderful programs of the Medina Lake Betterment Association (MLBA) dba Lakehills Community Center.

🦞We’re the signature fundraising event for 501(c)3 nonprofit Lakehills Community Center, 11225 Park Road 37, Lakehills TX 78063 Our goal is to serve, enrich, and inspire our local community. The MLBA has been supporting the Medina Lake/Lakehills area for many years with programs that enrich th

e lives of our local senior citizens with good nutrition, health, and fellowship. The MLBA also serves the youth in our area by supporting Easter, Summer, Back-to-School, and Christmas activities. The Lakehills Community Center was built for community use and supports local churches, non-profits, and civic associations hold their meetings, festivities, and fundraisers. So, come on out and join us at our Medina Lake Cajun Festival - held annually on the 4th Saturday of September! Your participation will allow us to continue our mission and help us keep the down-home spirit in our community growing for our area. Enjoy some good Cajun food, make new friends, dance to Cajun music, and experience a wonderful time.

This Saturday is the Cowboy Mardi Gras Parade that winds through downtown Bandera and draws thousands of people to the Texas Hill Country to celebrate this Louisiana tradition that is getting bigger and bigger!

Want to join in the fun? Grab your Cajun or Mardi Gras costumes and dregs and meet us at the City Park at 9:30AM and ride on the Medina Lake Cajun Festival with us and toss beads to the crowd.

Our award-winning Cajun Festival float shows the true spirit of Mardi Gras and you can be a fun, partying, reveling part of it! Loud partying, reveling, and dancing participants needed! See you there!
