Hill Country Samaritans is serving up delicious homemade lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and brownies this Friday (Mar. 6th) for only $12 per plate. This is our annual fundraiser and supports our under-sponsored events. Please share with your circle of influence!

Plates can be preordered or bought on Friday until we run out (and we hope to run out!!!). See attached flyer for details. (This is a drive-thru plate pick up event available at two locations.)

Bethlehem 2025
Dec. 30, 2025

A little over week ago, we put the finishing touches on the little village of Bethlehem, snuggled in the tall trees behind the Community Center of Lakehills, Texas. As we started off this season before Thanksgiving, we added 30 new framed and painted panels, Giving the stable and manger area a total renovation, and adding 3 or 4 structures that were occupied by several new church groups, bringing the total to 11 different local churches and two other organizations working together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ for the presentation of the glorious gospel message through the living, walk-through Bethlehem of 2025.

Once again, we saw the Lord working with us and in us, turning our efforts into a production that was even better than anticipated. What beautiful evenings the Lord gave us on both nights as approximately 700 people flooded through the streets of Bethlehem. Every detail contributed by every volunteer added to the whole presentation that led the way to the feet of the baby Jesus, who pictured Gods unspeakable love gift to mankind. I feel so privileged to have worked with this awesome group of volunteers who put their “shoulders-to-the-plow” in so many ways to make this event a success. We spent five weeks in the building of Bethlehem, and one day to disassemble everything and put it all away into storage until next Christmas season.

The Lord was honored, His Gospel proclaimed, the believers were edified, and the lost illuminated.

A huge Thank You goes out to every one of you who was a part of Bethlehem 2025!

The grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you through the end of this year and throughout 2026.

Thanksgiving 2025 was a beautiful reminder of what community can do together.
24 turkeys cooked. 167 volunteer shifts filled. 427 meals served.
