Before you tidy up your garden this fall, consider leaving some stems, fallen leaves, and/or a brush pile behind. These natural spaces provide cozy winter shelter for pollinators and other beneficial insects!

Small acts of kindness for nature can make a big difference right in your own backyard!

🍁🌕Tomorrow night is the Harvest Moon!🌕🍁

The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumn equinox. It's bright evening light has traditionally been associated with farmers harvesting crops late into the night!🌽🌾

Across many cultures, this moon carries names that honor the shift in seasons: the Falling Leaves Moon (Anishinaabe), Drying Rice Moon (Dakota), Freezing Moon (Ojibwe), and Migrating Moon (Cree).

If you have a chance (and the weather cooperates), step outside and take a few minutes to look up!
