The McHenry County Board recently designated Ford School in Lake in the Hills as a historical landmark.

This is hunkachunka love is still searching for his forever home. Brawny is 1-2yrs old, friendly, social and outgoing kind of guy. He is a star at doggie daycare and never has a shortage of friends. He would do awesome with a family that has an active lifestyle and likes to hike and go for walks. Brawny can cuddle with the best of the them but if you are active and like to be out and about, he would love to be by your side. Well, he would like to be by your side no matter what you're doing. If interested in this sugar filled brindle love muffin, please email [email protected] Brawny would do well with kids too but the smaller models he may knock over since he can be a little on the clumsy, goofy side of things. Warning: he can be silly and make you laugh until your sides hurt. Do note, he is afraid of Chihuahuas and will run for the hills

Eunice Andreas could never have imagined her future great-grandson would be in the school house she attended as a girl a century later installing a wood floor.

We are sadden to report the passing of Eunice (Ebel) Andreas. Euince attended Ford School and is where she met her husband, Welden. Eunice was on hand for the moving of school back to its original location.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Andreas and Ebel families.
