UCA of South Florida was formed in 1974. The UCA of South Florida is a chapter of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA). NUCA is the only national organization whose sole focus is the sewer, water, gas and underground utility construction industry. Utility contractors seeking unity to tackle industry-wide problems and improve industry conditions formed NUCA in 1964. NUCA represents m

ore than 1,500 members nationwide and is affiliated with 40 state and local chapters. NUCA maintains a wide range of benefits, educational opportunities and services designed specifically for the utility contractors.

Congratulations to every team that competed, and a huge shoutout to for reeling in the 🥇 first-place title!

This tournament wouldn't be possible without our amazing board, dedicated fishing committee, the outstanding staff at Ocean Reef Club, and, most importantly, our incredible members who make this event bigger and better every year.

Last week, NUCA of South Florida participated in the South Florida Damage Prevention Council Meeting. It was a highly productive session with NUCA contractors and other stakeholders engaging in meaningful discussions about damage prevention and safe digging.
