Today we were part of the very first FUTUROS Retreat at Florida Atlantic University learning about our Latinidad, the impact of the Latino community in social media, the Impostor Syndrome and to network with other Latinos/as/xs college students. We want to especially thanks David Cáceres (.md) from Broward College who accepted our invitation and how he embraced his Latinidad during the Event. We want to thank Florida Atlantic University for always consider us for this powerful events and we are looking forward more events like this. We can’t wait for next year to be part of the next FUTUROS Retreat.

We are about to start the new fall semester, this Thursday, and it’s probably the first semester for many students. If you are planning to attend, are going to attend and even if you are a dual enrollment student at Palm Beach State College. We want to be part of this FamiLIA. We are going to have our first meeting next Tuesday, August 27 at 11:00 am in the 2nd floor of the Library. We want this year to be even bigger and more successful so we will need the help from all the high school around Palm Beach County to let their graduates about us .jilhs
