It was a spectacular morning at the Barrier Free 5K with a large club showing. We had four lifetime PRs — Wassim Sentissi (2nd place Overall), Danielle Foti (2nd place Overall), Charles Bermel (3rd place Age Group) and Jose Sanchez (3rd place Age Group). We also had two notable comebacks post injury — Richard Bowers is back in form after knee surgery and Elisa Diaz earned 3rd in her Age Group with a strong performance post-hip surgery. All of our members ran with GRIT and we couldn’t be prouder! ☺️🫶

We are pleased to announce our charity of the year: Girls on the Run of Palm Beach County. This is a nationwide organization, and the Palm Beach County chapter has served 4,100 girls since 2011.

Meeting in small teams and led by trained volunteer coaches, girls build confidence and develop essential physical, emotional and social skills through running. The program culminates with girls completing a celebratory 5K event and cultivating a lifelong love for the sport. Who knows, some Girls on the Run participants might grow up to be WBRRC members!

Please come out to our fundraisers throughout the year to help us meet our fundraising goal. 💜🤍
