Last Thursday was an exciting day at our Lake Worth campus with close to 80 employees from Gables Residential volunteering for Gables Day 2026. All kinds of much needed hands-on improvement projects were completed – painting, landscaping, gutter, drainage and concrete repair work, and pressure cleaning.

Over the last 12 years, Gables employees have made a huge impact at four of our campuses with their annual companywide day of service. We are so grateful for this partnership and shared commitment to keeping our campuses safe and welcoming for our clients.

A day in the life of a Healthy Beginnings Hospital Liaison! 🏥💙

Last week, we introduced you to Diana at Boca Raton Regional Hospital! This week, we’re taking you behind the scenes as Diana shares a little bit about what a typical day looks like as a Hospital Liaison.

Our Hospital Liaisons play such an important role in connecting families to the Healthy Beginnings System of Care, helping ensure that parents and newborns have access to the resources, services, and support they need from the very beginning!

HomeSafe was proud to attend the opening ceremony for Domestic Violence Awareness Month hosted by the PBC Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response Team.

SafetyNet staff members Marlene Rivera, Sofia Perez, and Maya Nelson are pictured with State Attorney Alexcia Cox (second from left) who was the keynote speaker and leads the Domestic Violence Elimination Unit (Dove), which helps victims of domestic violence navigate the criminal justice process.

SafetyNet is HomeSafe’s comprehensive domestic violence prevention and intervention program. Individual therapy, group sessions, case management, crisis intervention, and legal advocacy are offered for free for adult, teen, and child survivors. Services are provided in both English and Spanish.

Thank you Commercial Kitchen Stop for supporting HomeSafe’s kids!

Their annual summer golf tournament, Back Nine Beach Bash, hosted at Palm Beach National Golf Course, was a huge success with players enjoying a great day of golf and a fantastic afterparty. For a fifth year, proceeds from the tournament benefited HomeSafe’s life-saving programs.

Owners Maria Albertorio, left, and Ryan Giffin, center, recently presented the agency with a check for $20,000. We are so grateful for their partnership and support of our mission.

Thank you to our friends at GFWC Greater West Palm Beach Women's Club for awarding Savvanah, a resident in our Pond Place Independent Living program, with scholarship money for college. We are so very grateful for the care and support the Club provides for our young adults and for the girls in our residential program.

Last Friday, our Healthy Beginnings Outreach Team had such a great time partnering with Esperanza Community Center in West Palm Beach to host another fun and educational playdate for families.

Our team had the opportunity to connect with moms and provide education on safe sleep, while families rotated through interactive play stations designed to show parents simple ways they can support their child’s development through everyday play. 💛

We are always excited to meet families where they are, provide helpful resources, and empower parents with tools to support their little ones as they grow and reach new milestones.
