Coherently Aware Now Inc.

Coherently Aware Now Inc. C.A.N was founded in 2020 by a survivor of sexual assault, addiction and co-disorders, Eric Harazi.

We secure resources and funding for long-term healing of individuals overcoming the impacts of sexual assault, addiction, mental health challenges, trauma, and dual diagnoses, in environments that nurture compassion, love and self-worth. Coherently Aware Now (C.A.N) envisions a world in which all individuals navigating through life due to the impact of sexual assault, addiction, mental health chal

lenges, trauma and dual diagnoses can experience effective treatment for their long-term healing, free of judgement and financial worry. While experiencing the aftermath of his trauma, he discovered a need for more effective care both during and after treatment for trauma victims seeking recovery. Eric has dedicated his life to creating a safe circle for all victims of sexual assault, addictions, trauma, and mental health challenges. He recognizes the desperate need to support individuals not only to the most effective treatment style and place, but through their entire journey to long-term healing. We are the only organization in the United States that does what it does. We both fund treatment and provide comprehensive resources to those who cannot otherwise afford treatment, or who are not emotionally capable of seeking long-term healing on their own.

On Saturday, May 21, the world became a little bit darker as we lost Jessica Bayer—a bright light for friends, family and Coherently Aware Now, the organization she helped build alongside friend and founder, Eric Harazi.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to ‘Jess’ Bayer, Secretary of the Coherently Aware Now Board of Directors. Her sincerity and dedication to our mission and cause was evident in the organization’s growth from the time of its founding.

Bayer struggled with addiction and PTSD throughout her life, dealing with sexual assault and various types of traumas. Her trauma led to a history of addiction, and Bayer was in and out of rehabilitation facilities for six years before relapsing and becoming homeless on the streets of Dallas, TX.

It was during this time in Bayer’s life that she realized that she was ready for sobriety, and she was finally paired with the right treatment center in Florida, where her healing journey began. Her journey brought her back to her family, the ability to pursue and achieve her dreams, and to speak out on behalf of others struggling with addiction.

Bayer’s main goal was to help people who want to receive care so that they can chase their dreams. She was about to start her dream of a career in law, combining her love for psychology and criminology, so she could help people.

Her passion for life, her laugh, and her love with continue to remind us of her every day. She is survived by her parents and her sisters. Bayer will live on in every person we help through our programming at Coherently Aware Now, and her optimism and support will continue to guide our organization.

Have you checked out Coherently Aware Now’s founder on the this weeks’s episode of ? Hear his story of relapse, trauma, breakdown and more!  After all that he has been through, Eric conceptualized the nonprofit to fill a void in the world of recovery and is for the betterment of survivors nationwide. Eric is a survivor of sexual assault, as well as a survivor of substance abuse. It was through his own struggle with recovery and rehabilitation that he identified the missing link in the treatment center chain, the advocacy of the person in treatment. CAN is the only nonprofit of its type in the United States. Learn more by visiting thesafecircle.org

You see m**h, I see fear. You see alcohol, I see social anxiety. You see track marks, I see depression. You see a Ju**ie or a pr******te, I see someone's son or daughter caught in addiction. You see self-centeredness, I see addiction has taken over. You see a pill head, I see over prescribing of opiates. You see someone unwilling to change, I see someone hasn't connected with them yet. You see denial, I see someone hurting. You see someone nodding out, I see God showing us they need help. You see the end, I see the beginning. You see a dope fiend, I see a future success story. You see them, I see me.
