Many have been asking about the 12th Annual Gimme 4 Celebrity Golf Weekend. We had been scheduled for December 13-14, however it is looking like we will be looking at a different date. Due to the conditions of Lake Wales Country Club, coupled with the recent damages from Hurricane Milton, we are probably looking at the first or second weekend of February. Please stay tuned. In the meantime, we are still very trying to help as many families as possible. If you have the ability to make a donation help support families battling cancer, please use the link below. Over the last 12 years we have been blessed to serve 100s of families with our events. We are getting very close to exceeding 1 million dollar of support raised and provided. We would like to take some time to introduce you to Avery Grace Fales. This beautiful young warrior will be one of our special guests at the 11th Annual Gimme 4 Celebrity Golf Weekend December 8-9 @ Lake Wales Country Club. Here is her story:

Avery Grace Fales turned 13 and two weeks later was diagnosed with a CNS Sarcoma with a Decipher One mutation. Her tumor is very rare, so rare in fact there are only 60 known reported cases world wide. There is no standard treatment of care. She underwent 2 brain surgeries at St Joseph Children’s in Tampa and when they couldn’t get all of her tumor, she was flown to LeBonhuer Children’s in Memphis for her 3rd brain surgery. Her surgeon Dr Klimo was able to remove the entire tumor with clean margins and she quickly began treatment at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has already received two rounds of Chemo and 33 rounds of Radiation at St Jude. She came home in October and will begin another 4 rounds of Chemo at St Jospeh Children’s Hospital in December. Avery has a long road ahead of her but she is strong and resilient. She has a great outlook on life and is ready to kick cancers ass and get back to living her life!

I suppose we have let you wait long enough!! If you could not decipher the previous clue, the theme for the 11th Annual Gimme 4 Celebrity Golf Weekend will be...NINTENDO!!! So many great characters and themes to choose from over the almost 40 years of Nintendo gaming. Cannot wait til December!!

Summertime is always the time when we crank up planning for our December Gimme 4 event. Unfortunately, that does not stop the needs that people battling cancer have. Since most of our resources are generated from our events, it makes it tough to satisfy some of those smaller requests that we receive. If you would like to help us with a contribution, it would greatly appreciated and allow us to help some more folks. God bless and GIMME 4!!
