The American Association of University Women, a 501 (c) (3) corporation, advance equity for women and girls through advocy, education, philnathrophy and research . It was founded in November 1881. AAUW is open to all graduates who hold an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or highter degree from a qualified education institution. Florida AAUW is represented by branches in 42 Florida communities with 2448 members and 1000 Members-at-Large.

Several members of our branch trekked to North Palm Beach for the Southeast Regional AAUW conference.

At our meeting Thursday outgoing president Georgiana Pentenin swore in our new officers for the 2026-2027 year. Linda Brown and Terrye Howell are our co-presidents.

Charlene Bennett is recording secretary and Betty Martin is our VP of membership.
