As another wonderful district show weekend comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every parent, participant, volunteer, leader, judge, and supporter who helped make this event such a success.

Thank you for your sportsmanship, teamwork, patience, encouragement, and dedication throughout the weekend. Most importantly, thank you for helping create a fun, positive, and safe environment for all of our youth and horses.

This weekend was about so much more than ribbons and placings. It was about friendships being built, confidence growing, life lessons being learned, and memories being made that these kids will carry with them for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of every rider who stepped into the arena, every family who supported from the sidelines, and every volunteer who worked behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.

Thank you for being part of such an amazing district and for continuing to support the future of our youth.

Safe travels home, and we cannot wait to see everyone again soon!

Safe travels to everyone headed to the South Central District Show this weekend! We cannot wait to see all the horses, campers, trailers, and smiling faces rolling in. Please take your time getting there safely and remember that gates will not open until 12:00 PM and the show office will open at 1:00 PM.

We are so excited to watch these riders shine, make memories, and represent their counties so well.

Also, volunteers ā€” please keep an eye on Facebook! We may hold a quick volunteer meeting this evening to go over where everyone needs to be, how you can help things run smoothly, safety reminders, and general information. We truly appreciate every single person stepping up to help make this show possible!

We are still in need of volunteers for the South Central District Show this weekend. Speed Events are one of the largest divisions this year, and we need more helping hands to keep things running smoothly and safely for all of our riders.

If you are available to help with gate crew, ribbons, organizing riders, or general event help, please let us know. Even a little bit of help makes a huge difference and helps our kids have the best experience possible.

Thank you to everyone who has already stepped up to volunteer. It truly takes a team to make this happen!

Just a reminder for those coming to district show. The show grounds does not open until 12 and show office opens at 1. We canā€™t guarantee you will be able to get in before then. It is also in your show packet. Stalls will be posted later today (Wednesday). If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.

5 more days until the May 16th, the start of the South Central District 4-H Horse Show!! šŸ“

The countdown is officially ON, and we cannot wait to see riders from across the district come together for an incredible weekend of competition, sportsmanship, learning, and memories at Lake Waccamaw!

So many youth, families, volunteers, leaders, judges, and supporters have put countless hours into preparing for this event, and we are beyond excited to watch these riders step into the arena and showcase all of their hard work.

From first-time District riders to seasoned competitors, this weekend is about growth, teamwork, encouragement, and celebrating the dedication these youth have shown all year long.
