Marian was truly the backbone behind the Southern Farm Days Show Book, giving so much of her time, heart, and dedication to help make the show a success. Her hard work and commitment to preserving and supporting the farming community will not be forgotten.

We are grateful for all she gave to Southern Farm Days and to the many people whose lives she touched along the way.

🙏 Rest in peace, Marian. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of so many.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear Cape Fear Farm Heritage Club member, Joseph Freeman, affectionately known to so many of us as "Papa Joe."
​Papa Joe was a cherished part of our community whose dedication, warmth, and love for farming history left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence at our gatherings will be deeply missed, but his memory and legacy will forever remain a part of the Cape Fear Farm Heritage family.
​Please keep the entire Freeman family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

​A Prayer for Comfort and Strength

​Heavenly Father,
​We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up the Freeman family and our entire community as we mourn the loss of our dear friend, Papa Joe.
​Thank You for the blessing of his life, his generous spirit, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around his family and friends, granting them comfort in their sorrow and strength for the days ahead. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them feel the warmth of Your enduring love.
​In Your holy name, we pray.
