🌱💚 4-H Meeting Recap! 💚🌱

Yesterday, our 4-H members came together to talk about all the activities, programs, and opportunities they’d like to be involved in during the upcoming year! We loved hearing their ideas and getting excited about what’s ahead. 🙌✨

And of course, we couldn’t end a hot summer meeting without a little fun! 💦☀️ We wrapped things up with a water balloon battle! 🎈💦

We’re looking forward to another great year of learning, growing, serving, and making memories together! 💚🍀

📣 CHICOT COUNTY 4-H MEETING RESCHEDULED!🍀

Our 4-H meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, August 27th at 4:30 PM at the Chicot County Extension Office! 🍀

Come help us plan, share your ideas, and decide on the events, activities, projects, community service, field trips, and fundraisers you’d like to see this year! 💡🙌

And of course… we’re ending the meeting with a WATER BALLOON FIGHT! 💦🎈😆 Be sure to dress to get wet!

☀️🍀 End of Summer 4-H Meeting! 🍀☀️

Help us wrap up summer by sharing your ideas for the future of Chicot County 4-H! Join us on Thursday, August 20th at 4:30 PM as we brainstorm events, activities, field trips, community service projects, and other opportunities you’d like to see in the upcoming 4-H year.
After the meeting, cool off with a water balloon fight, so don’t forget to wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet! 💦
Current members, future members, parents, and volunteers are all welcome. We can’t wait to hear your ideas and start planning another fun and successful year together!

Ashley, Chicot, and Desha County 4-H members had an exciting day exploring the Pine Bluff Delta Rivers Nature Center!🌿🐊

Youth enjoyed a guided nature trail tour, learned fascinating facts about alligators (and even got to pet one!), and had the opportunity to see several incredible birds of prey up close. It was a day full of hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and unforgettable experiences.

Thank you to the Delta Rivers Nature Center for an educational adventure our 4-H’ers won’t soon forget! 💚🍃

What better way to celebrate summer than by learning to preserve it! 🍓
During our Strawberry Jam Workshop, youth learned the basics of safe home canning, proper food preservation techniques, and teamwork while making their own delicious strawberry jam. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fun and educational day! 🫙💚

Our 4-H Strawberry Jam Workshop Thursday, June 25th from 2:00-4:30 PM. Please contact the Chicot County Extension Office to register by Friday, June 19th! There is a registration fee of $5 for ingredients, jars, lids and rings!

Join us for a fun Strawberry Jam Canning Workshop at the Chicot County Extension Office! Participants will learn the basics of jam making and canning while creating their own delicious strawberry jam to take home. 🍓✨
