We in Lake View Fire assist in the EMT Training of Hamburg High School at the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department for EMS / Extrication training of students enrolled in EMT class. If you have vehicles you would like to donate please follow the link below.

🚨 Junk Vehicles Needed for Life-Saving Training 🚨

Live, hands-on training is essential to prepare our responders for real emergencies—and right now, we need your help.

We are currently seeking junk vehicles to use in training exercises. These vehicles allow our team to practice every aspect of auto accident response, from patient care inside the vehicle to operating extrication equipment on Hamburg Rescue 7.

This need becomes even more critical in the spring. Each May, we host the Hamburg High School EMT class for an Extrication Day training, where nearly 100 students gain invaluable, real-world experience. Your donated vehicle helps give these future EMTs the hands-on training they need to save lives.

If you have a junk vehicle you’re willing to donate, it can be a tax-deductible contribution that directly supports emergency training in our community.

📞 For more information or to donate, please call Ric at 716-491-8684

Thank you for helping us train today to save lives tomorrow.

There will be several rounds of showers and thunderstorms today, with storms this afternoon and early evening possibly becoming severe. Damaging winds are the primary threat, though large hail and a tornado cannot be ruled out.

⚠️ US National Weather Service Buffalo NY has issued a for all of Erie County.

Multiple rounds of showers, including thunderstorms, are expected beginning this evening through Tuesday night. Excess runoff from this rainfall may push area waterways over capacity.

General flooding will also be possible, especially in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

Use caution and don't underestimate the power of water. Remember, turn around, don't drown!

Thunderstorms will be possible starting tonight, continuing through Tuesday night. The greatest risk of severe thunderstorms will be late Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Damaging wind is the primary threat, but an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. Heavy rain is also expected at times with showers and thunderstorms.
