🌈🔬 WHAT DO EXPLODING RAINBOWS, DOVES & SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS HAVE TO DO WITH THE TORAH?

At Lake Success Chabad Hebrew School, we don’t just teach Torah. We bring it to life!

Today, our students stepped into the Science Lab: Parshat Noach Edition, where hands-on experiments transformed this week’s Torah portion into an unforgettable learning experience!

🧪 The Rainbow Promise: Students witnessed an EXPLODING RAINBOW while exploring the powerful meaning behind Hashem’s promise after the Flood!

🕊️ The Dove Experiment: An interactive exploration connecting science with one of the most meaningful moments in Noach’s journey.

🌊 The Be a Noach Experiment: Bringing Torah lessons to life through discovery, creativity, and hands-on learning!

And the best part? Our students kept asking for MORE! ❤️

Because when children experience Torah through curiosity, experimentation, and discovery, learning becomes something they genuinely LOVE!

Of course, our day also included Hebrew Reading Assessments, Alef Bet Learning Centers, and our meaningful Tefillah Circle.

Do your children know how to find their way around a real Chumash? 📖

Today at Lake Success Chabad Hebrew School, we launched our Parsha Unit, taking our students beyond simply hearing the weekly Torah story and teaching them how to explore it inside a Chumash themselves!

Our students learned the five books of the Torah and how to navigate from Sefer → Parsha → Perek → Passuk, before opening a real Chumash and heading straight into Parshat Bereish*t.

From Creation to Shabbat, students explored the lessons of this week’s Parsha, with our younger division culminating their learning with a joyful Grand Shabbat Party!

And the learning is coming home! Students in Pre-K through Grade 8 received an age-appropriate Parsha questionnaire or Dvar Torah to share with their families. Bring it back signed for a special Prize Store Ticket! 🎟️

Hebrew Reading continued too, with individual assessments, practice, and homework as we help every student keep progressing.

A day filled with Torah, Hebrew, hands-on learning, and so much growth. We are incredibly proud of our students! 🙌

There’s so much happening and so many ways to celebrate together at Lake Success Chabad
