🎨 A big THANK YOU to Sherwin-Williams paint store in Lake Stevens!

We’re so grateful to Sherwin-Williams for generously donating the paint needed to base coat and seal the concrete wall in preparation for our new Lake Stevens mural!

Special thanks to Area Rep Allison and Store Manager Trisha for supporting this project and helping the Lake Stevens Arts & Parks Foundation bring more public art to our community. 💛

It truly takes a community to make projects like this happen, and we’re so appreciative of local businesses that step up and help make Lake Stevens an even more beautiful place to live.

🎨 Our mural wall is officially getting ready for something beautiful!

A huge THANK YOU to Wes, Robert, Tyson, and Affordable Custom Painting for donating their time and talents this morning to apply the base coat to our mural wall at Market Place & Hwy 9!

Wes Gray, owner of ACP, has been a longtime supporter of our community and is a favorite local painter here in Lake Stevens. He continually steps up, generously donating his time and skills to projects that make our city an even better place to live.

We are so grateful for community partners like Wes who help bring projects like this to life!

Now that the wall is prepped… the mural is coming soon! 👀🎨 We can’t wait to share the transformation with you!

Music in the Park is back at North Cove Park on TUESDAY and we have a very special evening ahead!

At 5:30 PM we welcome the Lake Stevens Jazz Combo, an incredibly talented student group from Cavelero Mid High School. These kids are the real deal and Lake Stevens should be so proud of the homegrown talent we have in this community!

Then at 6:30 PM the Lake Stevens Community Band takes the stage for their final performance of the summer. You do not want to miss this one!

Music in the Park is back at North Cove Park tomorrow night and we cannot wait to see you there!

The Lake Stevens Youth Jazz Ensemble returns to the 5:30 PM set, bringing all the energy and talent that wowed the crowd on opening night. Then at 6:30 PM the Lake Stevens Community Band takes the stage with more new music to share.

At 5:30 PM we welcome the Marysville City Jazz Band, a talented youth led jazz ensemble bringing serious energy to our stage. Then at 6:30 PM the Lake Stevens Community Band returns with some brand new music after a fantastic debut last week!

Tonight at 5:30 PM, we are thrilled to welcome the Lake Stevens Youth Jazz Ensemble to the Music in the Park stage! 🎶

This Big Band style jazz group is made up of talented young musicians aged 14 to 21, all from right here in our community. They spend their summer doing what most kids don't — rehearsing hard, playing together, and bringing live jazz to Lake Stevens. And the result is seriously impressive.

The ensemble was founded by Phineas Ruji, a UW student and saxophonist who wanted to create a jazz hub right here in Lake Stevens where people from all backgrounds can come together through music. The band is directed by Aiden Kimball, a Western Washington University music education student and drummer whose goal is simple: music for the people.

These young musicians are the real deal, and tonight is your chance to see them live. Come early, grab dinner from the Farmers Market, and settle in on the lawn for what is going to be a fantastic evening.
