Lake Stevens Rotary

We attended our Scout Troop's Court of Honor today. Many Scouts received Merit Badges and several were recognized for advancing in rank. Two additional Scouts will be having their Eagle Scout Boards of Review soon.

President Lance Morehouse, International Services Chair Chris Vallo, Membership Committee Chair Alex Shaller, Paul Adams and Chartered Organization Representative James Monroe briefly spoke to the Scouts and their families about Rotary and our Club's connection to the Scouting Movement.

Lake Stevens Rotary thanks the volunteer adults who guide and mentor the youth in helping them achieve their goals in Scouting.

A great time was had by all at our annual fundraiser!! This year BBQ, Boots & Bids. Catering done by Concept Catering by Lombardi's. Thank you Kerri!

$19,000 alone raised for our Scholarship Program.

Tonight we honored Eagle Scout Reagan Kuehn at her Court of Honor. She joins several Eagles in her family including her father and brother. Another brother is close to earning the top rank in Scouting.

Reagan's Service Project was leading others in building ten bat boxes for the City of Lake Stevens Parks Department. Some of the boxes have already been set up in Lundeen Park, Eagle Ridge Park and adjacent to the Bayview Trail in South Lake Stevens.

Congratulations to Reagan!! She is one of five that have achieved Eagle in our Troop since it started in February 2019 when Scouting America (then known as Boy Scouts of America) allowed organizations such as ours to Charter girls-only Scout Troops.
