Flake's Angel Fund www.lakestevensanimalhospital.com How it all began ~ Dr. Renee and her sister Teresa founded the “Flake’s Angel Fund” in July of 2002.

It was created in memory of Dr. Renee’s cat “Flake.” Flake had been the doctor’s companion all through vet school and sadly, had died of cancer just before Lake Stevens Animal Hospital was opened. The fund was set up to help treat pets that need various medical treatments that owners cannot afford. It also helps the unwanted and stray pets that come our way. Pets can be surrendered to us and once treatment is complete we find each animal a new and loving forever home.

Almost one year ago we had three mini dachshunds surrendered to us. With the help of Save-A-Mutt we were able to find them all homes after extensive dentals, grooming, and proper nutrition. We received a call from one of the dogs new vets and he said she is doing great! Even had a pretty bow in her hair! We love happy endings!

Please, if you can find it in your heart to help out a kitty in need now is the time. Poor thing is at Lake Stevens Animal Hospital and just had his leg removed. Really needs the love and support. Loveable kitty also is looking for his forever home. Loves to cuddle and have his chin scratched.

Camo Cats! What?!?! You saw it here .... now get it there! Lake Stevens Animal Hospital will be getting one of these cool catnip mats tomorrow afternoon - before I even have one to sell! (I'll be getting this same camo cats fabric in shades of pink later this week!)
