Lake Placid Classic Lake Placid Classic Half Marathon & 10K The starting line oozes with excitement, energetic music and plenty of pre-race activities to warm you up for your run.

The Lake Placid Classic is a friendly running event that takes participants through the beautiful village of Lake Placid during the spectacular early fall season. Once you cross the finish line enjoy music, food, and comparing race stories with new friends! This is a wonderful event the entire family can enjoy and a great reason for a fall weekend vacation in the Adirondacks. It is a USA Track and

Field sanctioned race. Every registered runner will receive a long sleeved t-shirt. Every participant that crosses the finish line will receive a finishers medal, and lots of cheers!

We have great news for all those waiting until the last minute to register! We set a deadline to register to guarantee a shirt, BUT we thought about it and we too like to wait until the last minute. We made the decision to order a LOT more shirts! We wanted to make sure each and every one of our racers gets a shirt! So all of our last minute registrations who registered after the deadline or will register in the next 3 days, you will get a shirt too!!

AND we will have plenty for your friends and family to buy - let your spectator friends know to bring cash or check! So they can get a shirt too!
