Great Job to The Friends of Erin Park Canals & Little Lake Jackson on their recent canals & lake clean up. Garbage bags full of litter & debris including a Styrofoam cooler, lumber, beverage cans, just to name a few, were collected from the waterways along with a few large tree limbs that were considered a navigational hazard. The Highlands County Lakes Association lent their support by grilling lunch of hamburgers & hot dogs for the volunteers. The food was paid for by the Lakes portion of the Tourist Tax.
