🎁💚 Spreading joy, one plush Adirondack Mac at a time!

The Adirondack Sports Council is thrilled to announce the donation of 144 boxes of plush moose toys to Samaritan’s Purse for their Operation Christmas Child program. These moose, originally created for the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games, are now embarking on a new adventure to bring smiles to children around the globe. 🌍

While we acknowledge there was extra inventory from the Games, we’re proud to see it turned into something meaningful. Repurposing these toys not only supports sustainability but also helps share the spirit of giving and joy with kids who may be receiving their very first gift. 🎄✨

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, and essentials to over 220 million children in 170+ countries and territories. We’re honored to play even a small part in this incredible mission!

The 12th annual Wilmington Whiteface Mountain Bike Race was held on Sunday, June 2, attracting 310 athletes from across the United States and Eastern Canada.

The event experienced a notable increase in participant numbers, and we eagerly anticipate another successful year of the 'Beast from the East'!

Summer is approaching quickly, and so is the Wilmington Whiteface Mountain Bike Race on Sunday, June 2nd!

Our event relies heavily on the dedication and hard work of our amazing volunteers, who assist with various tasks such as registration, course marshaling, and other important duties.

What a day it was yesterday at the Women in Sport Summit! With the event being sold out, the energy in the room was electrifying.

We'd like to express our gratitude to the speakers, panelists, Utica Univeristy Women’s Hockey Team, Utica University, and Oneida County Government for their contributions in making this event a success!

This morning, we hosted a sprint winter triathlon in Tupper Lake as part of the Empire State Winter Games. The triathlon, the first of its kind in New York State, included a 5k run, 10k bike ride, and 5k cross-country ski on the James C Frenette Sr. Recreational Trails.

We would like to congratulate all the athletes who participated in the event and extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this event possible!
