Hello hello hello!
Take a moment today and participate in World Hello Day! The challenge is to say "Hello" to a minimum of 10 people throughout the day and evening, and engage in social connection while also preserving peace.
To make the challenge more interesting, try saying "Hello" in a different language, like popular languages used here in Minnesota:
Aaniin - Ojbwemo, pronounced "Ah-neen".
Hau - Dakotah, pronounced "How".
Hola - Spanish, pronounced "Oh-lah".
Salaan - Somali, pronounced "Sah-laan".
Nyob zoo - Hmong, pronounced "Nyob zong".
Naw maw - Karen, pronounced "Naw maw".
Привіт (Pryvit) - Ukrainian, pronounced ""Prih-veet".
Hei - Norwegian, pronounced "Hey".
Hej - Swedish, pronounced "Hey". (Spelling is different from Norwegian, but it sounds the same.)
Hallo - German, pronounced "Hah-loh".
مرحباً (Marhaban) - Arabic, pronounced "Mar-har-bahn".
Olá or Oi - Brazilian Portuguese, pronounced "Olah" or "Oy".
Bonjour - French, pronounced "Bohn-zhoor".
Hau k'ola - Lakota, pronounced "How Koh-lah".
