"For decades, the Lions Clubs International Foundation has worked in tandem with The Carter Center to bring an end to preventable causes of blindness on a global scale, creating one of the most impactful partnerships in the Center’s history." - The Carter Center

“I have a feeling of gratitude for what Lions do throughout the world. Lions have changed my life. But I think even more gratifying to me is to go into a village in Africa or Latin America and see people who have suffered all their lives and know that they will never again go blind.”
– President Jimmy Carter

Do you want to help us make a difference in the lives of the stray and lost animals in Becker County?

We are looking to add a few new board members to our Board of Directors. We need individuals who are passionate about helping animals and want to help us make a difference.

As a board member, we meet once a month. We need assistance with planning fundraisers and events, assisting the staff with shelter events, community engagement, and among other things. We always love to hear fresh new ideas.

It is a great opportunity for all ages (18 and older). We would love to add some new passionate board members to our organization. It is a great way to meet people, make connections, and help animals.

If you are interested in learning more and joining our board, please reach out to [email protected], message us on Facebook, or call the shelter at 218-847-0511.
