THANK YOU!
I want to thank all of my new and old customers who came and partook of my delicious servings at my restaurant called Kangaroo House Subs Breakfast Soulfood located at 1400A 10th street lake park fl. Your help with patronizing and spreading the word about my food has helped me stay afloat when so many other restaurants have since gone under out of business. If you didn’t know then I will hip you to this industry in that for every 10 restaurants that open 2 may make it to last a year. So as you can see the failure rate is high based on many factors and I’ve seen some of the very best well known restaurants go under in less then a year. For me it’s been many grueling hard long hours sleepless nights and my 100% love for what I do that has sustained me. I look at owning a business like a marathon race many may surpass me at the beginning but about 3/4's in here I come fast and approaching the finish line. Most people would've been given up in year 1 based on all the BS that I had to endure from racist whites jealous blacks and people who wants the hook up. I have alot loyal customers who love my food and the quality I personally deliver. Now am I perfect everyday HELL NO and no one is but I make all the efforts in fixing the issues and problems at hand to make the customer happy. For the most part it works and in other parts you loose a customer or 2. I cant tell you how many people stated to me they refuse to eat at McDonald's based on the quality of food being served but they continue to go anyway based on those 30 minute commercials they see daily that’s there to hypnotize the masses into eating, even when they aren't really hungry. Now just imagine if I had 1 day of their advertising dollars for my business my parking lot would be full always 24/7. I know my food is good because of the repeat customer base and the new customer base and the customers who relay the message that Kangaroo is the place for good home cooked foods. So if you have never been here you should get here sooner then later.
