We continued to walk through our Abiding Light theme with Jerry Harris in Session Two. In honest confession, Jerry pointed out that, if we aren’t careful, our worth becomes the amount of “Jesus things” we do. We can spend so much time WORKING for Jesus, that we forget to ABIDE with Jesus.

“Up and to the right without close proximity to Christ means nothing. It’s His church, and He is doing the work. Not you.”

There is great power found in the Church, but it’s not us. It’s Him.

An investment in your leaders is an investment in your church's health. The "Hidden Work" of a leader is what no one sees, but everyone sees the results of. It takes resilience and discipline long before there are results and relationships.
Our pre-conference is specifically designed to encourage senior ministers, preaching ministers, campus ministers, or volunteers carrying the weight of shepherding and leading your church. THIS THURSDAY, our pre-conference begins, and we hope to see many leaders filling the room. Send a text encouraging your minister to attend. If you are able, cover his registration or hotel cost.
