Teach kids about healthy water in our local ecosystem!

This fall, Oswego Lake Watershed Council is partnering with the Lake Oswego School District to lead 5th-grade students in an engaging Healthy Waters Walking Field Trip experience.

Volunteers guide hands-on learning stations focused on infiltration, macroinvertebrates, and water quality while helping students connect classroom science to the natural world.

No experience is necessary—training is provided. There will be required in-person training sessions. Field trip programming will begin in mid-September. All volunteers are required to submit an LOSD background check in order to participate.

To learn more or sign up for the upcoming information and training sessions, contact Megan Hill: [email protected]
