Building To Scale was out in the community this week with Flower Works by p:ear at 4th and Burnside in Downtown Portland. Trainees put their skills to work building a storage shed for tools and supplies, and supporting FlowerWorks members as they planted flowers on site.

It was a meaningful opportunity to apply what they’ve been learning in a real-world setting, creating something that will support the project for years to come.

Thanks to the generosity of this incredible community, the 2026 Building Hope Gala Presented by Pacific Crest Custom Cabinetry raised nearly half a million dollars to support shelter, career pathways, and hope through the Home Building Foundation. 🤠
