Last night we had the honor of recognizing some fabulous Orion students at our annual Youth Recognition Ceremony!

Planet Fitness has free summer gym memberships for teens ages 14-19 from June 1st -August 31st. They can sign up online or in person at their local Planet Fitness. A parent has to sign a waiver and then they are allowed to work out without a parent present. They can only go to the location they signed up for. Registration starts May 18th.

Calling all teens: Join us in Summer 2026! Planet Fitness is offering a free summer membership for high school students. Get the High School Summer Pass.

Each year, Orion Area Youth Assistance sends dozens of our Orion youth to summer camps though our Summer Camp Scholarship program.​​

This critically important program provides a wonderful camp experience to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend camp.​

We receive applications from families who meet financial guidelines as well as referrals from school personnel and local leaders for students who could benefit from a summer camp experience.

Scholarships of up to $500 are given for camps such as:
* Camps provided through Lake Orion Schools Enrichment Services
* Orion Township Parks & Recreation camps
* Camp Wonder at Howell Nature Center
* Oakland University Camps
