It’s hard to believe that Summer 2026 is almost over. With that being said, please come out and join us tomorrow for our last Hot Dog Night of the season. We hope to see you there!

Aug. 15-16 and Aug. 22-23 KBA will have lost and found items out at the beach. Please DO NOT take any items unless they are yours.

All items remaining after these two weeks will be available for our community members Aug. 29-30. Any items left after Labor Day will be put in the dumpster.

Loose something at the beach recently? Large items are located outside the shed. Smaller items are inside the shed. Call the beach manager if you believe you may have lost something.

W**d treatment of the lake has been confirmed for Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Recommendation is for NO SWIMMING at a minimum of 24 hours after treatment.
Recommendation is for NO WATERING at least 3 days after treatment.

Recently, someone or several someone’s disconnected the swim platform from the concrete anchors in the lake. This is not an easy task, so it was a deliberate act. Doing this creates a safety hazard as swimmers jumping from the platform can land on concrete anchors in the area, causing injury. Please talk to your family members about the importance of leaving buoys and anchors alone while in the swim area. Further attempts at tampering will result in removal of the swim platform.

A few reminders for the 4th of July weekend and beyond:
-No glass containers on KBA property
-Smoking of any kind is prohibited within the fenced area; this includes vapes
-Fishing is limited to dock area ONLY. This is a safety issue and beach access cards can be revoked for this issue.
-Tabletop grills of any kind are prohibited. Please use provided grills only

Courtesy reminders:
-Keep noise and music at friendly levels so everyone can enjoy the space
-If you move KBA property (chairs and tables), please return them to original locations when finished
-If you see something, say something. Please call the beach manager for egregious and safety violations. 248-429-7270

Gate entry will end at 10:00 pm tonight, so if you want to view the fireworks from the beach, you must be inside the gates at that time.
