Thank you for your generous sponsorship and participation McLaren Oakland-we loved seeing your smiling faces 😊

Our team enjoyed attending last week's Orion Area Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual State of the Community Luncheon! It was a great opportunity to connect with community leaders, local businesses, and organizations while learning about the initiatives and opportunities shaping the future of our region. We look forward to continuing to serve and support our Orion community.

Thank you so much Michael Butcher of TeamLogic IT for donating your time and talent to the Chamber-both onsite and offsite. Michael has given the office an overhaul and complete IT makeover including updating 3 laptops: drivers, OS and application patches, startup app tuning for performance, fixed a Windows Update issue that was blocking patches, and removed unsupported manufacturer software. In addition Michael resolved issues with a desktop that was running out of space: cleaned up unused browser profile data and moved the OS to a larger drive, plus the same driver, patching and performance tuning as the laptops.
Resolved a Google Drive access issue on one device and helped resolve problems caused by a browser extension
AND NEW Security and monitoring is now in place, including Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM): ongoing device health monitoring, patching, and remote technical support
Managed Detection and Response (MDR): Windows Defender configured and verified on every device, 24/7 monitoring for malicious activity, backed by a 24/7 security operations center that acts on and escalates issues immediately
Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) for Google Workspace: 24/7 monitoring for signs of a compromised account, with the same security operations center ready to respond
Password manager for : a full license set up primarily for securely sharing account credentials between Michael and Joyce and installed features there to grow into over time.
We loved working with Michael as he is a patient expert and explains issues with a calm and understanding manner.
