😞 We aren’t out of the woods yet…

First, THANK YOU to everyone who has donated, shared our posts, and helped spread the word. We are incredibly grateful. ❤️

But we still have a long way to go.
To keep these fireworks alive, we need to reach a minimum of $20,000 in donations.

Every day, we’re seeing hundreds of comments saying how much people love this tradition. Now we’re asking those who enjoy it to help preserve it.

If everyone who watches the fireworks donated just $20, we’d easily reach our goal.

Please don’t assume someone else will do it.

URGENT 🚨🎆 !!
A Hard Truth We Need to Share…

This isn’t just another fundraising post and it’s a very hard for us to share this news

We are very behind in fundraising goals. And If we don’t reach our fundraising goal our yearly fireworks 🧨 event will likely no longer happen. 😢

Not because anyone wants that.
Not because the committee isn’t trying.
Not because people don’t love the tradition…
Simply because fireworks cost money, and without donations, the math doesn’t work.

We completely understand that priorities may have changed but every summer, thousands of people gather to watch the show. Families make memories. Friends fill the shoreline. Kids look up in awe.

But of those thousands of people who enjoy the fireworks, LESS than 1% of the community / viewers actually donate to keep them going.

There is good news!!
If just 2,000 families/households donated $20, we’d reach our goal!!
Just $20 that’s all we ask!

Sooooo many people to thank! Where do we begin?? Right here! 👇

A huge huge thank you James Jenkin and Wildwood Amphitheater for hosting an incredible opening season charity event for Lake Orion Fireworks!!

Final count for community attendance, a whopping 451 guests showed up to listen to Band Company give their incredible tribute to bad Company and Eddie Money!
(And may we add… it was the PERFECT evening!!)

And another huge thank you to David Santia for his absolutely incredible talents!!! And auctioning off his paintings!! So fun to watch him work! He keeps you guessing doesn’t he?? 😝

And as always to our pretty awesome Lake Orion community! If it wasn’t for you this simply would never be possible!! 💚🤍
