๐ช๐ต๐ฎ๐: A fundraising ride to honor the memory of Wade Sullivan, an avid cyclist and cherished member of our community. Choose from two scenic bike routes - a 10-mile ride to the bridge in Oxford and back, or a 25-mile ride to Leonard and back. The ride will be followed by a Brown Bag Club gathering, featuring a food truck provided by Sick Pizza at the trailhead in Lake Orion. We will share food, beverages, stories, and memories of Wade.
Minimum Donation: $25 per rider. All proceeds will go directly to the Wade Sullivan Memorial, supporting causes that were close to Wade's heart and promoting cycling initiatives in our community.
๐ช๐ต๐ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ? Celebrate Wade's Passion: Wade Sullivan was an avid cyclist who loved biking and promoting the benefits of cycling. He often rode on the Polly Ann Trail and would enjoy a cold beer from the local party store in Leonard, where he would sometimes stop for a break during his rides. The owner of the store required that he drink those beverages in a brown bag, which led to the formation of the Brown Bag Bike Club. By participating in this ride, you can pay tribute to Wade's love for biking and the formation of the Brown Bag Bike Club, and continue his legacy of promoting this healthy and sustainable form of transportation.
