This article came out today warning about warmer weather ahead. It is never too early to warn about warmer weather and warm fresh water this summer….

Health officials across the country are advising residents to remain alert for a rare, but deadly pathogen as summer approaches. Naegleria fowleri, commonly known as the "brain-eating amoeba," is a naturally occurring organism found in soil and warm freshwater, including lakes, rivers, ponds and hot...

Today hurts in a way we didn’t expect.

Today marks the moment when the time since Jordan’s passing has surpassed the time we had with him. And while that breaks our hearts, it also reminds us that his life continues to matter. Every conversation, every life we help protect, every ounce of awareness raised—that is his legacy.
His years were few, but his impact is still unfolding. Our love for him will not lessen with time—it has grown roots, strength, and purpose. He may have been here for only a season, but he is our son forever.

One of our most treasured traditions at the Jordan's Sporting Goods Christmas Store is the arts and crafts station, where children write notes to Jordan, to us, or about their families and Christmas wishes.
We read these notes on Christmas morning. They are a gift to our hearts filled with joy, tears, and gratitude.
One note stood out among them all this morning. It read, “All I want for Christmas is to see my dad”. It brought tears, as both our fathers are no longer here. It reminded us that even when our earthly fathers are absent, we are never without our Heavenly Father, who never leaves us nor forsakes us.
Today we hold space for every heart missing someone they love this Christmas.
Enjoy a few of the very special messages we received. Thank you for keeping Jordan's love alive. God bless you all this Christmas!!

We met Deputy Guillermo Saavedra on Dec. 6th, as he helped with the Jordan’s Sporting Goods Store. This year we served 1,315 children during the day and had a few sporting goods items left over from the store. We asked Deputy Guillermo if he would help us find a home for all of the remaining items, before Christmas. He said he would gladly try, and made a few trips to pick up all of the items! We are so grateful to partner with Deputy Guillermo and the Orange County Orange County Sheriff's Office, Florida! Merry Christmas!

We would like to thank all of the volunteers and donors that supported the Jordan’s Sporting Goods Store, yesterday! We would not be able to serve all of the children that came thru the store yesterday, without your help & support! We would also like to thank our partners Rusty’s Bicycle Recycle and Bike/Walk Central Florida for their help and support! Here is a picture of yesterday’s volunteers.
