CITY-WIDE FALL CLEANUP 2026
NOTICE TO RESIDENTS
All items that you would like to dispose of can be brought to the disposal site, west of the Creamery, on the following date:
ONE DAY ONLY
7 AM – 3 PM OR UNTIL FULL
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026
Please do not bring recyclable items to the disposal site.
We will NOT be accepting the following items: appliances, brown good (electronics), tires or hazardous materials.
Leaves and brush may also be brought to the disposal site, if the gate is locked you MUST wait until the next working day to unload. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please take your leaf bags or containers with you.
Fall Cleanup is for garbage-paying Lake Mills residents only!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Lake Mills Football Team for spending your service time helping the Lake Mills Parks and Recreation and community spaces even better.
These guys worked hard moving 9 ton of rock into our mini golf course and another 8 tons of sand around the sand volleyball courts. That's a LOT of hard work, and we truly appreciate every bit of it!
And after all that work....they earned some fun in the pool!
We are so grateful for young people who are willing to give back, work together, and make a difference in our community. You guys definitely showed us what "Work Hard, Play Hard" is all about!
