This week, we really need your support as we host one of our biggest events of the year, the May Family Clothing Giveaway. ‼️
The Family Clothing Giveaway gives families the opportunity to "shop" for free clothing at the start of the warm weather season. Need is 100% self-determined, and this event is open to anyone who can benefit.
How can I support this event?
1) Volunteer! Here's the details:
Thursday, May 28
10AM - 4PM Sunshine Sorting Event : Stop by Sunshine to help us unpack donated clothing and organize by size.
4PM - 6PM Tables and Bins Event Setup : At the LM Municipal Building. Set up tables, move and unpack bins, and help hang event signage.
6PM - 8PM Clothing Unpacking Event Setup : Unpack bins, sort and refold clothing onto tables to get our event ready for shoppers!
Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30
Shifts as short as an hour and a half. Help us reorganize tables by refolding clothing as the event goes on, greet shoppers, and keep things running smoothly.
Sunday, May 31
12Noon - 2PM Event Pack-up : We REALLY need volunteers for this shift. Event pack-up entails packing clothes into bins and moving them outside, taking down tables, returning the room to it's original layout, and minor cleaning duties. If we have enough helping hands, we'll be done by 1:30!
2) You can still donate new or gently used clothing and shoes to the back patio donation box at Sunshine Brewing Company. 👟👕👗
