Last night, we hosted our 2nd Annual Welcome Reception at Primrose Lanes, and what an incredible evening it was with over 100 attendees! 🎉🎳

Our President, Rebekah Taylor, greeted everyone with a warm welcome and announced this year’s inspiring theme: “Rooted and Rising: Whole, Well, and Worthy in the Work of Justice.” ✨

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting, build community, and get energized for the year ahead. We were thrilled to see our legal community out in full force—with attendees spanning the entire legal gamut, including law students, paralegals, attorneys, and judges! ⚖️

Last weekend, 18 of our BWLACF leaders gathered at Top Golf in Lake Mary for our 2026-2027 Leadership Retreat: Rooted and Rising: Whole, Well, and Worthy in the Work of Justice ⛳✨

We kicked off our meeting by placing our heavy thoughts in the “burden box”—a powerful release exercise spearheaded by our Wellness Committee chairs. From there, we paused, connected, and set our strategic sights on a powerful year anchored in wellness and justice, culminating in our Spring Wellness Retreat 🌿🧘🏽‍♀️
