The PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Store is one of the most exciting programs at Lake Mary High School! PBIS is a school-wide program designed to recognize and encourage positive behavior, responsibility, respect, and involvement on campus. Rather than only focusing on consequences, PBIS gives students opportunities to be recognized for making good choices and contributing positively to the school community.
Throughout the week, students can earn PBIS points from teachers and through school activities. On Thursdays, they have the opportunity to “shop” with those points for snacks, drinks, school supplies, and fun spirit items. The PBIS Store gives students something tangible to work toward while helping build school pride and a positive campus culture.
As a volunteer, you will:
Arrive by 10:30 AM to help set up the store.
Assist with student check-in and checkout as students redeem their points through Minga.
Help keep the store organized and stocked.
Supervise student shoppers to help everything run smoothly.
Schedule
Set-Up: 10:30 AM
First Lunch: 11:03 – 11:33 AM
Second Lunch: 11:58 – 12:28 PM
We need two volunteers each Thursday.
Important Reminder: All volunteers must be registered Dividends with Seminole County Public Schools in order to help on campus. Please make sure your Dividend application is approved before signing up.
If you sign up for a date and are no longer able to volunteer, please text Sandy at 404-429-5569 as soon as possible so we can arrange coverage.
Thank you so much for volunteering your time and helping us continue to make PBIS a fun and rewarding program for our RAMS! Susie Nix & Sandy Excellent
